Long containerised M-Hub with a solar canopy and engineering systems for a modular park
Concept · Class 03 · a network of properties

M-Hub

A concept, not an available specification. A containerized energy, water, backup and digital-control hub for several homes, a business, a farm or an autonomous-living park.

Storage
60–300+ kWh*
Power
30–150+ kW*
Buildings

Local infrastructure

When autonomy goes beyond a single home.

M-Hub combines shared resources for multiple properties: generation, storage, backup, water, connectivity, vehicle charging and central monitoring. Instead of duplicating large systems in every home, the infrastructure works as a local service.

This is a project-based product. Its technical and financial model depends on load profiles, user numbers, operating modes, seasonality, sources, permits, grid connection and expansion potential.

01
Modular park or glamping site

Multiple living units, shared water, charging, backup and central monitoring.

02
Business, farm or production facility

Critical processes, peak loads, backup sources and a need for managed service.

03
A new autonomous location

A microgrid that can be deployed in stages and expanded as more properties are added.

M-Hub architecture

Resources are physically separated. Control is digitally connected.

01

Energy zone

Storage, power electronics, AC/DC configuration, grid and generator inputs, protection and metering.

02

Generation and microgrid

Solar arrays, external sources, distribution between properties, priorities and power limits.

03

Water and utility resources

Reserves, treatment, pump groups, quality and consumption monitoring within the agreed scope.

04

AI OS central monitoring

Asset overview, alarms, resource forecasting, logs, access roles and service scenarios.

05

Safety and service

Zoning, access control, fire response scenarios, ventilation, bypass and space for repairs.

Three M-Hub scales

From a local core to network infrastructure.

These classes frame the preliminary study. Final capacity is determined by an hourly model of consumption, backup and generation.

Site

One location

For multiple homes or a small hospitality or service property.

  • indicative 60–100 kWh
  • power from 30 kW
  • shared backup and water

Enterprise

Business or microgrid

For high power, multiple sources, critical processes and phased expansion.

  • from 200 to 300+ kWh
  • from 100 to 150+ kW*
  • multiple containers or custom format
  • extended central monitoring

* High power requires a dedicated electrical design, grid approval, selective protection, a fire safety concept and specialist operation.

More than a container

Infrastructure that grows with the site.

A

Start with the core

Critical resources and the first connected properties are commissioned first.

B

Add generation

Solar arrays, canopies or other sources are connected under the approved design.

C

New consumers

Homes, service buildings and chargers are added after verifying the resource balance.

D

A second hub

When the first centre reaches its limit, another standardised module joins the network.

An example of scale and site integration. The master plan, sanitary clearances and fire safety distances are designed separately.

The preliminary study matters more than the catalogue

First the site's business model. Then its technical model.

M-Hub makes sense only when the properties, users, consumption schedules, revenue sources, responsible operator and development plan are understood.

01

Concept

The site's scenario, development phases, users and level of autonomy.

02

Data collection

Loads, water, utilities, transport, land, climate and permits.

03

Preliminary study

Resource balance, block diagram, indicative CAPEX/OPEX and risks.

04

Design

Architecture, electricity, water, automation, fire safety and service concepts.

05

Production

Enclosure, zoning, installation, factory acceptance testing and digital passport.

06

Specialist logistics

Low-loader or container transport, crane and rigging plan.

07

Integration

Site connections, site acceptance tests, degraded operating modes and training.

08

Operator

Procedures, SLA, spare parts, central monitoring and network development.

An infrastructure agreement

Not a box in a basket, but an asset with a lifecycle.

Cost is broken down into the preliminary study, module, external utilities, logistics, site readiness, commissioning, software control and long-term service.

Documentation

Preliminary-study agreement, technical conditions, design, readiness schedule, acceptance tests and SLA.

Delivery

Container or specialist transport, crane, route permits and engineering preparation of the site.

Installation

Placement, connection to external utilities, commissioning of each system and integrated testing.

Operation and service

A responsible operator, procedures, remote support, scheduled visits and a stock of critical components are required.

Insurance

Designed around asset risks, liability, business interruption and the specific insurer's requirements.

Leasing and project financing

Most relevant to B2B, following a financing partner's assessment of resale value, usage agreements, cash flow and asset eligibility.

M-Hub enquiry

Let's start with a preliminary study, not a container price.

Share the site's parameters. Our team will check whether M-Hub is justified, which class is needed and what data to collect for the resource and financial model.
