The right scale

When you do not need a large plant module.

M-Box is designed for a grid-connected home that needs to handle outages, maintain critical circuits and show the actual backup status. It does not take up a plant room and remains accessible for servicing outdoors.

This is not a universal kit. Before configuration, we determine the supply capacity, peak loads, critical consumers, temperature conditions, installation location and future expansion needs.

01
Backup for short and medium outages

Lighting, connectivity, refrigerator, automation, pumps and selected sockets.

02
Solar generation is installed or planned

M-Box can become the storage and control centre after compatibility calculations.

03
No safe plant room available

Energy equipment is moved out of the living space into a service enclosure.

Service access to M-Box batteries, inverter and automation
Illustration of the layout principle. Actual equipment, protection and dimensions depend on the specification.

Inside M-Box

Service access instead of technical clutter.

01

LFP storage

Modular battery architecture with a BMS, temperature monitoring and agreed protection measures.

02

Hybrid inverter

Manages sources, loads and charging within the approved design.

03

Protection and switching

Automation, meters, bypass and service isolation in one clear system.

04

Local controller

Collects status, events and energy metrics for AI OS and service diagnostics.

05

Outdoor enclosure

Weather protection, carefully designed ventilation, access control and servicing without entering the home.

Three starting points

Configuration begins with the scenario.

Package names help frame an enquiry. They do not replace electrical calculations or specify a particular equipment model.

Core

Critical backup

For lighting, connectivity, a refrigerator, automation and several critical circuits.

  • indicative 5–10 kWh
  • single-phase scenario
  • monitoring and alerts
  • service-ready design

Max

The upper end of the class

For a property that still fits the compact enclosure but needs maximum backup.

  • indicative capacity up to 20 kWh
  • single- or three-phase design*
  • room for expansion
  • enhanced service package
Discuss Max

* Three-phase architecture depends on loads, the incoming supply, backup mode and selected equipment.

From selection to operation

The product journey ends with a working scenario, not delivery.

The exact scope of work, the customer's and ModulDim's responsibilities and foundation requirements are defined before production.

01

Enquiry

We record the property, outages, critical circuits, sources and desired operating mode.

02

Audit

We check the incoming supply, distribution board, location, cable route, earthing and connectivity.

03

Design

We agree on the single-line diagram, specification, foundation and scope of work.

04

Assembly

Enclosure, equipment, switching, automation and factory tests.

05

Delivery

Protected pallet or freight transport after checking weight and dimensions.

06

Installation

Placement on a prepared foundation and connection to agreed service entries.

07

Commissioning

Testing grid supply, backup, bypass and emergency events, plus owner training.

08

Service

Diagnostics, settings updates and scheduled checks.

Commercial model

Clear before you sign.

The proposal separately specifies the module, preparatory work, delivery, installation, commissioning, service and potential financial products. This keeps the budget from disappearing into hidden extras.

Documentation

Technical brief, commercial proposal, agreed specification and payment schedule.

Delivery

Courier freight is possible only within the packed unit's actual size and weight limits. Otherwise, we use a freight carrier.

Warranty and maintenance

Warranty coverage is separated for the enclosure, installation and components. The maintenance schedule includes checks of ventilation, connections, error logs and storage condition.

Insurance

Equipment and installation-risk insurance may be available after an inspection, site assessment and insurer approval.

Loan / instalments

May be available for standardised configurations following bank approval of the customer and confirmation of the financing limit.

Leasing

Considered individually for businesses where a financing partner can accept the configuration as a leased asset.

M-Box enquiry

Let's calculate your home's critical scenario.

Provide a little context. After the initial assessment, if M-Box suits the task, our team will ask for photos of the distribution board, incoming supply details and a list of loads.
